Rep. W. Gregory Steube (R) Florida took to the House Floor to debate HR 5 The Equality Act which eventually passed out of the House with 3 Republicans voting for it in open defection from the GOP party platform.

This bill is so dangerous, it represents every nightmare proponents of religious freedom have ever prayed against.

Rep. Steube was speaking eloquently about gender norms and connecting those norms to sound Biblical doctrine and said, “Whenever a nation’s laws no longer reflect the standards of God, that nation is in rebellion against Him and will inevitably bear the consequences.”

As he went on, Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) rudely interjected “Mr. Steube, what any religious tradition ascribes as God’s will is no concern of this Congress.” Nadler may be right as much of what Americans see passed out of Congress these days is diametrically opposed to God’s will.

Lord have mercy upon this nation and send revival into the halls of our elected officials. Amen.
